yeah, I just read that this could be the last Petit Le Mans as well, since the FIA is using different rules than the ACO, a big shame.

I think like what the LMS has done, kill the LMP1 class, LMP2, LMPC, GT2, GT3, GTC. that would be a serious cost saving idea, the WEC/ILMC is a great idea, but mostly all the reporters knew is was gonna kill a series, LMS I believe is gonna be ok as they are predicting about 20-25 LMP2 teams along with the GT's

Considering that Panoz owns Sebring, I don't see the FIA "stealing" anything. AFAKT, this is one guy's totally unsubstantiated conjecture.

And yet they still outdraw Grand-Am by a factor of 5 at all events and their ratings are higher. ALMS have more manufacturer participation as well.
