Nice livery :) It's like that because Kuzaj had no budget for this rally (strange, isn't it?) and there was kind of whip-round.

Yes, it wasn't very expensive. For example, a 3,5 cm x 4,5 cm sticker costed only a little over 10 euro.
Here is the price list (1 zł is approximately 1/4 euro):
Leszek Kuzaj | Serwis internetowy (http://www.kuzaj.pl/news/news_07092011.html)

Kajetanowicz wins the first stage. The real action tomorrow morning.

What's problems for Rox  really bad times from the Abarth driver :s

Jarek Z
24th September 2011, 12:43
Yes, bad stage times from Rossetti and, to make matters worse, he got a puncture on SS4. He is lucky that Betti didn't come to Poland. I'm very surprised by Holek's times. Good job from the old fox! :)

Jarek Z
24th September 2011, 12:54
After the first loop Rossetti said that they had mistake in pacenotes, made a spin and stalled the engine. That's why he lost so much time. And then off course, the puncture too.

Holowczyc said that he is very happy with the car, but he doesn't push 100% and knows that he can drive even faster! :O

What happened to Holek on SS9? :(

havk
25th September 2011, 10:36
Holowczyc had a puncture and changed the wheel on stage.

I don't remember so interesting and even competition in Rally of Poland. After first day there was 8 crews in half a minute!

Jarek Z
25th September 2011, 10:40
Oleksowicz hit a tree and Rzeznik went off the road. Both crews are OK, but out of the rally. Kajto is the new leader. Three stages to go.

25th September 2011, 11:53
I hope Rossetti will show some speed on the last three stages as his performance on this gravel event are, despite all the excuses, very very poor...he is biggest disappointment so far.

Raven
25th September 2011, 12:38
I wonder why Rox is so slow. His best place on ss (excluding sss) was only 8th!

Why did Ramona Karlson retire(she gets superrally penalties) ??? :(

She had some problems (engine, gearbox) with the car during first day and on the second day went off the road, but nothing serious.

What is the superrally system in Poland?

+3 minutes for the retired crews for both legs but included in final classification?

What about the points for the European Championship? Oleksowicz and Rzeznik will take the points?

Olek and Rzeznik get points of the first day.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, by I don't care about superrally and don't even know how it works. But I think you are right. In Polish championship you get +3 mins and are still classified in the final standings.

But in ERC the regulations are different for sure.

Yes, polish championship with only +3 mins for crews is strange. For some crews should be faster (and cheaper) retire on first stage... I have revised results into classic ERC standard - Rajd Polski 2011 - Results - Rally-Base (http://rally-base.com/2011/rajd-polski-2011/)

No news yet. An additional "taste" in the whole story is that co-drivers in those two crews are brothers :)

It is not when you look on stage times, Bouffier won 4 out of his 5 starts. Kajetanowicz is also a very good driver

Here you can see detailed standings with points for each round (day1, day2, total). Bouffier was actually faster in each round, but one mistake in the last rally cost him a lot...

mistakes and car reliability issues are part of the play.
