I could not agree more. You can buy all the best 'toys' needed but they are useless with out someone who knows how to maximise the value out of everything you have. A great team can even squeeze performance from a car with a limited budget, as long as they have the right know-how.

Plus you need to factor in the costs of entertaining sponsors, media and the like, plus promoting your own team. The team is not a charity, no sponsor will give you money just for the fun of it, especially at this level of the sport. They will expect a return for their investment and you need to treat it as if they are investing in you and they are the shareholders that need to be pleased.

You can always rent some cars from various teams, like RMC, some of those even have S2000. To start a team from scratch i'd say you need someone who knows the sport inside out and somenone who knows where to get the best guys.

And of course lots of money.

Both are very promising engineers, and have already a nice chunk of experience behind their belts.
