The 2012 Silver Fern Classic Marathon Rally is planned for a week long event in the North Island of NZ during November.
2 wheel drive cars only and likely to include stages such the Motu.

checked the road book for this event in the last two weeks - the stages are really terrific and a lot different to South Island - lot twistier - it will be a very hard event on drivers being able to keep up their pace - first time over the Motu stage for about 5 years and it is as difficult as I remember

Rhys Millen is to run a group B Mazda RX 7 on the Silver Fern.

I would like to be, but at this moment i can't afford it.

But i do know that Roger Goss is still looking for a co-driver for the Silver Fern.

All getting closer now, reparts are that the roads are in magic condition and everything is looking good for a fun filled week of motorsport

The route chosen would make a good course for a Marathon WRC round.
