Why are the only guys in the Constructors Championship Arena/Ford, RML/Chevrolet and Dynamics/Honda....
I thought the idea was that the constructors was for any teams who build their own cars, and I'm fairly sure Triple Eight built the Vectras back in th'day so why aren't they eligble? Same thing surely applies to AMD Milltek...

AMD Milltek didn't build the Golf, they bought it in from Denmark or Germany.
I guess as Triple 8 were VX racing as the constructor when the car first appeared that means they can't be constructors now

So I wonder when the Welch Proton and the Thorney Vauxhall show up (assuming they are building these cars themselves) will they be in the Manufacturers-Constructors' Championship?

Rob Austin's Audi isn't, so I guess not

Rob Austin Racing did not construct the Audi. It was built by GPR Motorsport, the same people who did the Toyotas.

Being entered into the constructors championship isn't just a case of eligibility - there's an entry fee to be paid too (which presumably isn't cheap). So if you don't have a big car manufacturer who is willing to pay that fee, why spend the money?

Don't the three teams mentioned at the top of this receive "manufacturer" support? Are Triple8 now a purely private team with no direct manufacturer support?
