Couldn't see a date on that ad, there were rumours that John was selling his pickup and looking at SCSA but then we heard he was going to race the truck again this year and his name is on the drivers list so perhaps that's an old ad.
John does read this forum so perhaps he would give us a comment.

I think they are definately keeping their Pickup truck, take a look at the team web site, updated recently.
Would be good to see them in an SCSA car tho

Just looked at the website & had to do a double take!

The slide show advert for Pickup Truck Racing has a one of my pictures of my son at the last meeting, we are both quite chuffed!

Counting down the weeks but can't wait!

I can't put my finger on why, but I am looking forward to the coming season more than ever before!

Ah........Rookie training! can't see what thats got to do with John Stant selling his truck unless your'e suggesting he'll be at the training, but his website does say they will be racing the truck in 2007.

So are we going to see John Stant in an SCSA car then? or does it all hinge on the outcome of his Rookie Training??

If he doesn't pass rookie training, there's no way you'll see him in an SCSA car (ASCAR). :)

Has anybody ever failed SCSA rookie training?
As far as i'm aware nobody has failed the pickuptruck rookie training course.

Ahh so it's the Rookie training that your on about, so do we know who will be there as well as Cheerios?
Do we have a list of drivers? I notice that the fans are invited, maybe worth a day out, would be good to know more Nick.

Unfortunately I don't have a list of who will be there this year, I don't even know what time it starts although I'd imagine 9am. Don't head down there though for 9 on the friday as classroom comes before tracktime.
As for Stanty, he's always looking to progress and who would object to a Cheerios car in '07?

Yes, but hookers don't generally come to you, so no, not hookers. :D
