Labor day is the 1st Monday in September.

May 1st is May Day....International Workers' Day, a day of political demonstrations and celebrations organized by unions, communists, anarchists, socialists, and activist groups.....

....in other words groups who have nothing to do with actual LABOR. They should rename it International, Lazy ass, Slacker day!!!
