Stage 10 is running and Juho made it trough.
wwbroe
4th June 2011, 08:05
Bouffier is 6.1 sec faster as Hanninen, coming back to about 8.8 sec of the lead.

4th June 2011, 08:06
What an amazing time for Kopecky, can that be true????
Mirek
4th June 2011, 08:09
Both Juho and Bryan have been rather slow today...
wwbroe
4th June 2011, 08:09
Looks like it is true, Mikkelsen 5,9 sec slower as Jan Kopecky. I must say that those times are very fast if you compare them with Hanninen and Bouffier, who are fighting for the win of this rally.
Bartek
4th June 2011, 08:19
Guys what do you think about Kopecky chance ? He is very fast today...
I think Juho will be much more faster on SS11 and 2nd loop.
wwbroe
4th June 2011, 08:24
We will see, but both Bouffier and Hanninen are quite slow today. Maybe Mikkelsen and Kopecky are taking bigger risks and we might see some more punctures?

Guys what do you think about Kopecky chance ? He is very fast today...
I hope he can win, but I don't think he can gain enough time on Hänninen. The second place for Jan is possible if no one of the top three has a puncture.
wwbroe
4th June 2011, 08:28
Bouffier again faster as Juho, taking another b3.1 sec back, so he comes back at 5.1 sec from Juho overall. ;)
Bartek
4th June 2011, 08:29
Now, Juho have only 5 seconds, 2nd loop will be amazing :)
wwbroe
4th June 2011, 08:32
What a time for Mikkelsen !!!!
wwbroe
4th June 2011, 08:39
I think we might see really interesting end of the rally, with big fights going on for the win and also for third place, where the difference between Kopecky and Mikkelsen is only 12,9 sec. For the overall win, the difference between Juho and Bryan is now only 5,1 sec. Quite interesting to follow both fights.

yes, very nice fights! even if wilks keeps on being so slow and maybe has some small spin or so, neuville could also overtake him! ok, mabye its a bit too optimistic, this morning he lost around 35 seconds on neuville, but would be cool if there would be another fight :D
In UA Class after SS9 it was:
1 CHMYKH 2:03:43.3
2 PERETS +00:00.6
3 TAMRAZOV +00:07.9
After SS10:
1 CHMYKH 2:20:31.4
2 PERETS +00:42.1
3 PECHENYK +04:10.2
4 GORBAN +04:40.4
5 TAMRAZOV +04:59.1
Tamrazov have a problems on SS10, Perets have a penalty 30sec at TC10 and lost 10sec on a stage.
After SS11:
1 PERETS 2:34:51.8
2 GORBAN +03:31.2
3 TAMRAZOV +03:32.6
4 PECHENYK +04:15.3
5 SALIUK +04:42.4
Chmykh has crashed, Pechenyk have a problems, and Tamrazov on his Fiesta S2000 came back.
How it can change in 3 stages :)

What a plastic head of Mikkelsen... spin at last corner.

4th June 2011, 10:44
Yes indeed, but he seems to be able to continu.
darkstar
4th June 2011, 10:45
wow, he must have been very fast, still a good time from mikkelsen...
i´m curious if he continues his charge, with the pace he must have set, he should still be able to catch up on kopecky.
Did Skoda make some breakthrough with setup today or do the stages just suit them more? Particularly Kopecky has remembered how to drive again.

It are majorly the same stages as yesterday, just ran in the opposite direction. I don't know if Skoda did find something in setup, but i think it is especially because Neuville and Wilks are not too much attacking any more. But for sure it is good to see that Skoda's are still in the game. Especially because they didn't hit any problems.

4th June 2011, 11:02
what i dont understand about skoda is, why they didnt give loix the money to start here at the yalta rallye. he´s leading the championchip and is really a tarmac specialist, especially on ruff tarmac like this.
Mirek
4th June 2011, 11:03
Škoda doesn't pay Loix's driving, it's BFO.
darkstar
4th June 2011, 11:05
yes i know, but that´s what i mean...why didnt they give him the money? arent they interestet in a skoda winning the events and the drivers championchip, and also the constructors championchip?

I think that Hänninen starting here is Your answer. He wasn't supposed to drive this one...

ok ;) pitty for loix anyway, i like his driving style. (especially on national events he´s always on maximum attack)
bouffier was almost 10 seconds faster in the remaining two stages at the first run through this morning and lost almost same amount of time in first stage like he did now. i think he defenetly has the chance to win, but probably still the off in last corsica´s stage is on is mind too. nevertheless it´s defenetly exiting ;)

It's only extra weight! :p
Rallyfans and media should use twitter more often to post live-rallynews with pics and stuff.

HaCo, when you know how it works :D
Honestly I only use it to follow things others post. If I had a better mobile phone, I would use it for example in Ypres rally. If you see a crash, or puncture, or ... upload pic, post a message. If I understand it right, with twitter you post public and everybody can read. Using good tags is important, so everybody can find your tweet (not to mix with teet :p ).
First guys through, looks comfortable for Juho now.

he will skip some events...unfortunately
Classic Juho at Yalta press conference:
Question from the floor to Juho Hanninen
Who will you dedicate this victory to? Maybe your wife and children?
JH: “It’s difficult to give just one name because I would like to dedicate it to the whole team. They have made very good work during the whole year. And, at this moment, I don’t have a wife and I don’t think I have any children.

He's doing the most, don't think nobody will do all events, maybe Bouffier and Kopecky? Loix did skip also already.
But if they see Neuville can win it all they'll probably invest in more rallies same story with Loix.
