What a good entry list, as always in Italy.

Nice to see #63 Jan van der Marel still active in rallying. He is 67 years.

A bit disappointing that there is no Belgian team, but we have a round for the Belgian Historic Championship this weekend with the TAC Rally.

The Norwegian Valter Jensen have got himself a new car for 2011, a 037. He has not driven it much before, so will be interesting to see his speed, after great success in a 911 in the past years !

Great news Sulland ! Normally we see him every year in Ypres too.

@Mirek: that Kadett is great, that sound is crazy to hear very loud :D

@Wim: I think nobody of the Histo drivers have the budget to drive such a championship, though they'll beat everyone in the round in Belgium :) to still get maybe a top 10 place in standings?

@mousti: in the past 3 years Kurt Vanderspinnen drove most of the rallies of this championship. ;)

Yeah, the engine is unique. It's original 16V competition cylinder head which was never manufactured for stock cars. I believe only few of these can be find all around the world.

I know, but I ment as main contenders.. Who could compete against Ernie Graham etc. Hope some of those Baldini Porsche's will return to Ypres aswell. Is Brazolli's Porsche already rebuild after his bad crash at Dikkebus?

its not popular....only for historic acropolis.

Some say this rally was among the reasons the ELPA rally was cancelled since the organisers put all the funding into the this useless historic event and left no money to the ELPA rally. but thats just rumours.

Bianchini surprises me a lil bit ! Brazzoli is pretty fast with that big Porsche he could follow the speed pretty good last year in Ypres of the big local guns and that's very good! Any news if Bianchini will do full ERC again including Ypres?? I know he's registered but don't know which rallies he'll do.

It was a very nice event. The Italians were very fast, but not spectacular. Konstantinos Pitsos made an excellent performance. I should mention that this was his first appearance with this car!!! He was by far the best in gravel!!! Well done!!!
Very nice performance by spectacular Cunningham in his Escort MKII. I also liked Janota! He was fast and spectacular too, both in asphalt and gravel!!! Pity he had problems... :(
Nice performance by Stelios Yamalakis and Christos Platis!!!
