Here a thread to keep clean other threads. Here you be able to give your opinion about anything from the forum and everything about off topic things on rally threads!
If you may be angry or disagree with someone, do it without swearing please!
Or Moderators have to intervene!!!
My ide for this thread came after reading this post.
Guys, leave your personal feelings at the door. This forum is for discussing rallying, not for throwing insults.
Thank you.
My personal opinion! (Brother John) :s mokin:
In recent years we already lost a lot of real rally fans who had fun on the forum!
Everyone has their own opinion about the carc, drivers and the sport. If you following rally on the web it's nice to see their results and talk about it on the forum, but please do It without any negative things to say from other cars, drivers or forum members!
When I see a rally live, I like to see all the wrc cars!
Make a joke that´s okay, but do not continue to complain about some issues.
To the moderators.
Maybe it's getting about time to changing some rules for users of the forum?
If people do not show respect for rally sport or other members, moderators should decide after a warning that they be removed, temporarily or permanently from the forum!
Yes I made much mistakes myself here on the forum but am not afraid to change myself. Let us have fun here together instead of annoy each other. :s mokin:
Use this thread to say all your opinions.

Nope he's an Administrator :p :
Seriously this forum is the best and the most friendly place to discuss Rallying and even if some discussions gets too hot, it could do without Moderators. I know what Brother means and I respect his idea, however we do have Chit Chat for off-topic and Feedback forum to discuss forum's issues, so I don't think we really need such a thread in here. Anyway I will keep it open at the moment just to see how it progress...have fun ;)

Typical you see N.O.T. questioning Brother John´s legitimate try to get some order to the forum, but I think however that the level of discussing still is acceptable despite some small ditchvisits from some guys.
I know what BJ is trying to say and I respect that and think everyone else should do as well. So let´s keep up the good talking, although discussions even hard should still be possible.

Yeah, same concern here - recently the level of our forum has gone downwards and BJ's idea is worth to think at. If I'm honest then this forum is not the same as it was back in few years. Nowadays some of our posters concentrate too much against some members and drivers. It used to be more fun, information, positive feelings and less nagging. Nowadays some member's negativity is catching others too - too much hate going on here.

As Pino said,
This forum is still a great place to read about rallying and keep up to date with all the news to do with our sport. It's still very friendly although in the years I have been around there are more and more armchair experts, more baiting, fatter trolls as they get fed on a regular basis, although if you ignore the pricks while smelling the roses it's not a problem.
Still love the forums so no major complaints except for we all need to be a little more tolerable of each other at times.

Strange that everyone on the A. Warmbold thread is so polite and friendly!
As a forum member here who had business contacts with factory teams and said something what happened there the reactions were quite different!
I'm not going into details here, just look what happens during wrc rallies and ask yourself som question. Why private drivers are slower then factory drivers?
PS; The thread with A. Warmbold and his Blog are really worth reading.

It is a good read. And none of it surprised me - the factory teams don't want Privateers winning - but they'll take their money though.

Could it be that if some of the guys with inside information just wouldn´t be so secret of their own person, they´d be more seriously looked at?
I mean look at mr Warmbold coming out and everyone take big step upwards the serious way of discussing.

And at the moment take a look what people do on this thread!!! http://www.motorsportforums.com/forums/showthread.php?141875-Matthew-Wilson-in-Autosport.
Usually, the same who think they are the specialistsand know about who are the best drivers but also which drivers do not belong in the WRC.

Tbh I don't see there being a huge problem. Discussions are always going to get heated when people are passionate about things and I really doubt that there is much ill feeling behind things. I'm more than happy to meet up with Pino in Finland, be driven around by him and having a good laugh with him. This after we've had some "disagreements" over Gigi Galli. I found a video the other day of Pino I took in Finland in 2005 (the people who were there will remember the one) where Pino is going on and on and on about Galli and rather fanatically attacking PuddleJumper who made the mistake of saying Galli would crash (Which he did) :) PuddleJumper, Tomi and DonJippo made some very funny and sarcastic comments :) If we applied some of the logic people are trying to suggest here then PuddleJumper, Toni and DonJippo would have been being mean to Pino which certainly wasn't the case.
i think what some people are trying to suggest is almost censorship, people are passionate about the sport and the way things have played out and are rightly unhappy about the way things are. I don't believe that Wilson should be in the WRC purely because he's a pointless drain on M-Sport but if someone disagrees with me then fine, but I will disagree back. Nobody is trying to say that he should be banned or anything, it's just opinions and people should stop getting so worked up over things.

Of course. That's why when I posted the video of Pino many years ago I asked his permission first.
