i would say race control, or who ever was in charge of the lights.
There was one of the prototyps which had come to stop on the track on the warm up lap.
Im sure the safty car was ment to stay out, as the yellow flags down the main straight were kept out.

I haven't seen it. I hope sometime over this weekend I will get to see it on either Bloomberg or maybe Eurosport though. What is it about the class that is making it so exciting?

I can see theirs the talent for one. Jody Firth is one to look out for. I remember him in the Ginetta G50 Cup in 2009. Since then he has won the British GT Championship in the GT4 class, finished 12th in the 2010 Formula Le Mans with 15pts and is currently leading also the SPEED Euro Series. And for someone who is 30 on July 11 that is bloody good going. And I think theirs three great drivers at RML in Tommy Erdos, Ben Collins and Mike Newton. I remember Tommy in the 2001 BTCC for ABG Motorsport and he did well in a Lexiu IS200 against much bigger teams like VLR and Triple Eight who were running in effect two teams in Vauxhall Motorsport and Egg:Sport. But is their anything else?

One or two queeries I have actually regarding entries. Firstly, why didn't Aston Martin (Mucke/Turner/Primat) score? They finished 5th but didn't score. Is is because they didn't do a certain number of laps? They did do only something like 91 laps. And Team Felbermyr. According to the drivers standings Horst Felbermyr Snr. only get's 1pt even though Horst Felbermyr Jnr. and Christian Ried actually won their class. Horst Snr. I can see only did 17% of the race with his son doing 47% and Ried 41%. is their a rule which says they must drive a certain percentage of the teams race?

Cannot wait for Spa.

Hello,
I am newcomer to this forum. I am writing from a small town near Barcelona, Spain.
With reference to the race, I was located at "the end" of track, just before the start of Mistral and, obviously, it was not possible to see what happened; however, it was very surprising to see the two Matmut Porsche, clearly damaged.

Because most of Porsche were affected by the incident, the GT race was peculiar.
For the remaining of the race, the notably lack of race rhythm of the Aston Martin P1 was the most unexpected and the victory of the Pescarolo P1 car, the most interesting thing. In the last testing days at le Mans, they proved to be strong. We will see.
Pictures of the race here (http://www.autosportphoto.net/page2/page20/page21/page21.html).

The Starter shouldn't have put the green lights out, the pace car never left the track. Starter had a brain cramp and so did the pace car driver....
