I'm glad your excited, I genuinely am, but after a look at some of the more experienced and successful drivers debut's at Bristol, your enthusiasm may be tempered a bit. Here are the top 3 career winners at Bristol who are currently Cup drivers (but stats are from all 3 series).

Kyle Busch: 9 wins in 31 races (4 cup wins in 12 starts, 2 Natwide wins in 13 starts, and 3 truck wins in 6 starts). Bristol debut: 3/27/2004 (Nationwide race) start p12, finish P3 (driving the hendrick #5 car, the car that Vickers won the Championship in the year before).

Kevin Harvick: 6 wins in 44 races (1 Cup win in 20 starts, 5 Natwide wins in 20 starts, 0 Truck wins in 4 starts). Bristol debut: 6/20/1998 (Trucks). Start p35, finish p22, 4 laps down (driving the 75 Spears Manufacturing truck, considered a great ride in the late 90's).

Kurt Busch: 5 wins in 20 races (all in the Cup Series). Bristol Debut: 3/25/2001 Start p39 Finish p37 (DNF-Crash lap 118/500). This was in the now defunct Roush 97 car. And Kurt Busch is now considered to be Mr Bristol by many in the series.

Bristol is not an easy track to pick up the first time. Kyle Busch seems to be the exception of this group, and a cursory look of other drivers (Concrete Carl Edwards, for example-Bristol Debut 8/20/2003-trucks start p8 finish p11 1 lap down-and I really remember this race, Harv was DOMINATING and blew a right front tire in turn 4 coming to take the white flag and crashed-I don't remember who won, though).

So no, I'm not expecting alot from her this week, but I'll give her a pass on this one, Bristol being Bristol and all that, it would be unfair of us to hammer her too hard this week.

Sorry slory....NOT! Remember, this wonder phenom finished a glorious, record setting 4th last race!! She has arrived on the NASCAR scene. Afterall, we're talking about a 30 year old PROFESSIONAL driver here. She's been "pro" for about 15 years or so now. Bristol or not, I'm sick of the bullsh!t. If she's going to get credit for being lapped 4 times (while taking 3 wave arounds and 1 bogus lucky dog 3rd car 1 lap down), limping home a half a lap down to the car that WOULD have been 8th without blown tires and fuel issues, then there is no giving her a damn break. I for one am looking forward to the stories in the news spinning back to the "lack of experience" card after the "it's Danica's time" stories 2 weeks ago.

Lets also not forget she spent 98% of the time at the bottom 4 of all open testing session in an Indycar this week AGAIN!! Save for a clean new tire run while others got caught out be multiple yellows in the last few minutes of the last session, she'd achieved her own personal best of 100% of the time at the bottom.

The Nationwide Series in itself has become a joke, theres maybe 5 cars that have a shot to win, while about 15 have a shot shot at a top 10. there are only really 20 cars that are decent, everyone else is unsponsored.

I'll be watching the 12 hours of Sebring instead of the boring "repaved" bristol. 56 entries over 6 classes sounds way more exciting then hearing where The One is running.

this race will be won by Kyle Busch anyways

Point taken. Maybe I was trying a little too hard to make our resident Danicamaniac feel a little more welcome :p :

But I will stick by one thing. I'm not expecting much from her this weekend.

Enough is e-freakin'-nough. Somebody needs to take that sorry excuse for a race care driver out and smack the snot out of her . If I was Ryan Truex I'd get out right now and go take care of her business.

It's Danica. It's her m.o. - Truex's spotter had it dead on - nothing's ever been her fault her entire career.

Why should we expect anything different now?

Well, that didnt turn out good. I would like to thank Ryan Truex for taking Danica out of the race, terrible. His car definitely came down on her car. She had a top 20 finish for sure.

She's an embarrasment to our gender, beachgirl. Who was the nitwit who told her she could be a race car driver?

The poster is becoming as much of a caricature as his favorite driver.

He obviously wasn't watching the same race as the rest of us.

Why is it the driver of the 05 that she punted into the wall earlier didn't get out and act like a spoiled brat? After all, he was fighting for a top 20 too. With the 15 competitive cars currently in N-wide, those fighting for the last 5 top 20 spots sure are fiesty.

Because he isn't a spoiled brat.

The Jennifer Jo Cobb situation is rather odd. Apparently owner Rick Russell threatened violence against her crew chief and team. I have to give her and her crew credit for walking out; she paid for the tires to run the entire race, and to be told she wouldn't actually race that one or Fontana after she did that, she has every right to leave.

Even if Truex came down on her (and anyone seeing this objectively would see that it was really slight), the actual wreck was Danica's fault. She overreacted to Truex coming down, spun, and over-corrected her spin and went up in the wall. It was hideous driving on her part. She should never have hit anything, let alone spun out because a car made light contact with her.

It's so hard to have any respect for her when she blames everyone else, and then when she goes out and says Truex was wrong because he "races hard" just sounds so silly. "Racing hard," what a crime. I like her theory that if you just have a good car, you'll just magically end up at the front. Some racer she is...

I like her theory that if you just have a good car, you'll just magically end up at the front. Some racer she is...The in-car of the Truex accident was interesting. She let go of the steering wheel. Now that is something you do in Indy Cars to prevent breaking wrists, but the power steering in stock cars doesn't have the kickback. Earlier in the race, she was involved in an incident that was in no way her fault. But the incident with Truex was properly called by the announcers. She slide the nose and hit him. After that, she just plain lost it.

Every driver makes mistakes, and her initial mistake was a small one. But she is becoming a caricature of herself and a real joke with her outlandish response. Truex's spotter got it right. She is never at fault no matter what she does. The teams seem to have her number. I wonder if the fans will every learn she is just a prima-donna with a big time sponsor who keeps funding the farce this has become.

Jennifer Jo Cobb showed class. Danica showed her usual inner bit*h.

he raced me sooooooo harddd, just soooooo hardddddddddd, I mean ummmmm so hardddddddddddd. and DF, a top 20 in the nationwide is a nothing to be proud about when shes in a race winning car, the Nationwide Series has about 20 cars and thats it, the rest are field fillers. much like when the IRL was lucky to get 16 cars a race and a top 10 didnt mean much when the top were always Penske, Ganassi, and Andretti cars
