waltrip to race 24 hours at LeMans

I only caught the headline but Mikey and partner are on thier way to france to test for the famed race. during the off week of nascar.
More input and info is neede on this; And of course opinions. Is he branching out or leaving or just triing to have some fun?

what driver wouldn't want to race the 24 hour event? this is without a doubt, one of the 3 major races in the world, with the Monaco GP and Indy 500 as the others.

I'd kill just to go to see the event

Agreed. The 24 heurs du Mons is arguably one of the most prestigous races, in my mind MORE so than either the Indy 500 or Daytona 500, and possibly even more than Monaco just because Monaco is over in 2 hours or less.

For me, the Le Mans 24 is THE race, none others even come close.

Mikey has been racing sports cars with his partner for a couple of years now. They've run in a couple of races in Dubai. I hope they do well.
