Pedro de la Rosa has rejoined the British team as their official test and reserve driver after working for sauber for one year.

Good for both, De La Rosa works around F1 still and Mclaren get a driver they know to help them develop their car this year.

I don't know, for the most part he will be drinking coffee and walking around the paddock. The whole title of a test driver is a joke these days.

He's got insider knowledge of the tires already, he tested them and helped Pirelli develop them just like Heidfeld did before Sauber snapped him up for the end of last season.
It might not be very much however in McLaren's present situation it will most probably make a difference.

Good (re)signing for McLaren, I thought Pedro was unlucky to lose his seat last year. Will provide good backup should the need arise.
