Matt kenseth won the pole. It is only the 5th pole of his career. That's quite a low # for a driver with as many career wins as he has.

In fact if you look at his wins, you find a lot of wins after starting deep in the 20's and even the 30's. If he's on the pole, Look Out!

PS, I want to go on record and say I had him as my "pickem" winner before first practice! :D

Of course in slo's Top 10 pickem, I have him 8th. Gotta hedge my bets! :p :

Oh Yeah, Ambrose is second, so kudos for the Aussie! :)

I hope Regan Smith can make up for Phoenix with a good run in Vegas. Furniture Row have really been strong this season and I absolutely love to see that. Nice bunch of people doing it the hard way. It's great to see some interesting faces making moves toward the top of the sport this year; it took a few years, but I think the big teams' advantages with the COT are getting smaller. Championships? Probably not. Wins? I think we'll see more diversity there. Top fives and top tens? Well, we're already seeing variety there. Should be a good one.

Harv startin p26, huh? Compared to the p34 he started last year, that's like being on the POLE,, LOL. Oh, he finished p2 last year by the way. In fact, since 2008, Harv has outscored everyone here points wise, just no wins for his trouble. Seriously, why do I not feel better about his chances today? He absolutely sucked in happy hour. But we'll see, he didnt exactly burn the house down in practice last year, either.

I'm driving my rig through Indiana listening on xm radio and all i keep saying to myself is "Here Kitty kitty kitty" I can accually see and hear Tony counting down the lead lap drivers as he dominates today. I am a Stewart fan but i pulled for both Busch's 1 and 2 today.
1st off the pits with JP this should be good.

Kyle Busch just blew up. Matt Kenseth had a flat and lost a lap and can't seem to get it back. This race is not unfolding like I thought it would at all.

Jeff Gordon smacks the wall. Tony's kind of stalled out stuck in traffic. He needs to do something to get track position.

Yea' Juan's sitting on 4th place after three events. In a short interview they had with him on the broadcast, when asked if he thought he could have won he said his car was not as fast as the two that finished ahead of him. He sure drove a great race though! :s mokin:

Man, oh, man. I thought Tony had that one in the bag! He did take a gamble on just two tires, however. I can't help but wonder if taking four on the first stop and then two later on might have helped him. He knew he'd need another stop for fuel alone. And four on the first stop would've helped him knock away at the others in front of him.

He was quite upset after the race. It'd be nice to see him finally get a win in Vegas one of these years.

I don't think it was the wrong decision. He came forward after the penalty, but had stalled out around 14th or so. Being in clean air out front really made all the difference.
