the difference is when Citroens cleaning the road are loosing few seconds, while when Fords cleaning loosing a lot.
We have to say that for cleaning the road 5-7 sec in 20km ss is very little, comparing to Mikos loose yesterday.

If JML and Ogier do not crash in the next stage the power stage will decide the overall winner. It could be very interesting! JML and Ogier will push hard to win the rally. Loeb and Hirvonen will also push for extra points.
In the first pass through Mahes JML was 6s faster than Ogier. If he does it again he will be on the lead!

Great drive by Ogier, took a gamble to run first on the road, and it hasn't quite come off - but was prepared to lose in order to win. A great attitude to have. Drive of the Rally for me. Latvala and Loeb have done as expected due to their road position.
About time these dry, dusty events were either dropped, or moved to another time in the year - this is the third of four in a row - ridiculous. All we get are silly 'go slow tactics' - just makes the sport look a farce.

He should be, loosing with 0,2 seconds is very ****. Loosing with 0,2 seconds while he has slowed down for 10 seconds the day before is very very ****. Ogier has won on pure speed, literaly. This magnifical win deserves to be remembered for ever.

Loosing with 0,2 seconds while he has slowed down for 10 seconds the day before is very very ****.
That is the tricky thing. Had Latvala not slowed down behind Loeb on Friday, the competition today wouldn't have been so tight. That's the paradox. But he could've slowed down for 0,2s less... Anyway, 0,2s is so little that it could've happened anywhere while clock was ticking, impossible to point it anywhere.
But this is not taking anything away from Ogier. He can drive to victory from the front, has done it now a few times, he's got the killer speed and after several misfires, his reliability to stay on road has returned - without missing the speed. JML and Mikko will have to face hell with Ogier in Finland.

Isn't that the Loeb's place? I remember Loeb having a close call on that crest too.

Holy moly.. check out the video on wrc.com of Petter's crash, scary stuff, on a ridge with people on each side of the road, a miracle he didn't hit anyone.

According to Anette Latva-Piikkilä (MTV3's rally reporter (sometimes in bikini: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F86fZX8B9b4 ) :D ) Latvala was heard saying after the rally that "Whatever, I will take the win in Sardinia!"

Didnt you see last night's ET1 wrc programme?
The new cars are spectacular!!! Better noise, more show, greater angles ( oversteer).
Times are now representatives of the best drives... If you go fast, you also look fast in the eye of the spectator. I would say that JML, Ogier, Loeb, Hirvonen and Solberg are a joy to watch!! Henning was fast yesterday, and Raikonnen was impresive, and i ecpected his perfomnce as this rally is an easy rally for someone with little experience. I mean that most of the stage is clear from trees boushes e.t.c and you can see the corners, so he can trust his pace notes. For the same reason, i expect kimi to be fast in the tarmac days of Catalunya rally.
In the S2000, nasser was clearly faster.

It is unfair to judge from three-four passes. Ogier was very brave and with clean lines. It seems that the new car suits him. Loeb might need some more time to adapt. Bear in mind that the C4 was setup in his likes... I expect a fantastic fight between the four for the championship. Also an interesting thing was the speed of Miko on saturday.... Dont rule him out of the fight for the championship. It is the first time after many many years, that both teams can win any raly whith any driver... As for tarmac, i am not sure that loeb will win easily.. If ford is as strong as it is in gravel, Miko and JML can fight for good results.
We have Italy,Argentina, Greece, Finland, before we go to tarmac. And in Finland we will have the first upgrades of the 1.6 WRC cars
