Hope Paddy will show up for this one...

This has got to be the quietest thread in the history of this league. Worrying...

It seems I may have to skip again as I simply cannot get the gravel mod to function properly. I'll do the stages I can do (i.e Noiker 1+2) but that is all I'm afraid.

I've noticed it too, Bruce...

I'm thinking that a merger between the 2 series will be the only way of continuing this in the coming seasons.

A merger is a good idea. I think to generate more entry's, we need to go on forums such as Eurogamer and tell people about the offline championships that run on here.

This looks awesome, unfortunately I'm with peter on this one-just can't get the mod to function right.. Let me know how it turns out though!

Madders5, Tannat runs the same series for the original version of the game on alternating fornights to my series, so you can have a crack at that one if you like.

I have finished the shakedown stage. C4 felt good and I didn't had any major issues. My times were:

2:05,28 - 3:46,89 - 5:40,96 : default setup, made few half-spins at the hairpins
2:04,34 - 3:45,86 - 5:32,79
2:04,66 - 3:43,83 - 5:28,61
2:03,01 - 3:42,06 - 5:29,21 : made few mistakes at the dowhill part and lost some time

Will start the rally proper now.

I have finished my rally. Before the rally I felt confident that I could get away with a good result but I fear that won't be the case.

Stage one went well and I think I did pretty well but on the next stage it went bad very fast.

I remember previous RSRBR version Finland stages with gravel mod were very good and driveable. Unfortunately in RSRBR11 (at least in my installation) they are pretty much undriveable. If I drove in the tire tracks everything was well and I had lot of traction but if I went even slightly out of them (for example sideways through the corners)or even touched the road side grass (snow banks with grass and mud texture) I was off. And it was very hard to get back to the track because the grip off the tracks was almost the same as driving with slick tires on ice.

Long story short on the second stage I lost almost minute trying to get back on the track when in a long hairpin I suddenly lost traction at the rear and went off.

On SS3 I tried to take some time back but I don't know if I managed it.

SS4 started well but again I got caught out and went off. I tried to continue but decided to retire because time loss would have been collossal.

After using the Superrally the rest of the rally went well.

Result wise I have nothing to hope for but I'm happy with any point I can get.

Some pictures (http://s274.photobucket.com/albums/jj267/t6nns/RBR%20MF%20Cup%20S3%20Acropolis%20Rally/)from my rally and onboard from SS5 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xf3PEh34wSk).

I also added video from SS2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntC6WgB6bPk). Does anyone else have this kind of behaviour on Finland stages with gravel mod?

Finished my rally-fairly quiet except a call for help when I put the car in a stream on the last really fast bit on Noiker II...

No hopes of doing much better than last against NKnow and PS29 :D

Well-second is great, although it feels a bit hollow with NeverKnow's supperally. Nice to set a competitive stage time or two....

Sorry to hear RBRSR was giving you issues, Neverknow...

Perhaps some of the crew will return for the next round.

Thanks for your work on this one, Bruce D

Glad to get the win, although there was only three entrants. NK was unlucky to have not won. I can't see the pictures so I don't know how close it was. Hopefully we can have a return to full strength numbers in future.
