I hope to get back into the hot seat at the next round. I'm back in Uni on the 24th and will have some more time (time that should be spent studying :p :) to compete. Hope all in the RBR crew had an enjoyable festive season

Day two doesn't look too fun...

Bruce-you driving on this one?

Bruce D

Probably not. Taking some time out again. Personal issues now in the way. As for the foot, it's probably ok now. Funny thing is I could drive in real life without any problem but with the pedals it was painful.

I'm sorry to announce I have to pull out from RBRMF Cup or any other offline races
around here, since I got no more free time, now that I've joined the R40 RBR Team Greece.
The team Is following the official Rallyesim calendar (one rally per week) while there
are some plans for The Greek online rally championship to start very soon.
So, as you can understand, It's almost Impossible to catch up with you guys.

It's been a great fun, racing with all of you. See you around..! ;)

I've done my rally and this is a short summary how it went. I decided that I needed a car change if I wanted to become faster. The Subaru S14 was nice car to drive but I needed to make huge setup changes to make it driveable and in the long run it would have been slower. So I opted for '10 C4. The car itself is nice to drive even with the default setup and only needed few small setup changes to make it drive more or less how I wanted.

The rally went without major incidents but I did have few scares. Like on the first stage I had a high speed slide which I fortunately caught, otherwise it would have been a huge crash into the trees. Also I struggled with the hairpins and couldn't get them 100% perfect. Sometimes I used too much handbrake, resulting a spin, other times I used too less and needed to steer out of the corner. Also I held back in the wet and was driving under the potential of the car. Hopefully in the future I can and will use the full potential of this car.

Result wise podium would be good. My aim for this rally was to finish in one piece and I achieved it so I'm happy with any result I can get.

Completed my rally...

di the final four stages with a head cold-made some errors on the wet stages and called for assistance once.

I shouldn't be much of a threat to anyone...

Finished my rally well I think. I'm hoping for the win this time round.

Well, sorry to say this but the finishing list has taken another hit as I have retired...My first retirement ever on SS3 Cote D'Arbroz in the wet. About 2/3rds of the way through the stage where there is a quarry on the left, a cliff on the right and a wooden fence on the left. I cut it too fine, hit a fencepost, spun and rolled into a tree at the next corner. Best crash ever...however it means the end of my rally :(
Good luck to the rest - I'll be back to my best next round!

I've been emailing with Bruce D-he is unable to log in to the forum, but can read posts.

I believe we'll be receiving results by email. He's trying to sort the problem out, but with no luck thus far.

Internet problems are making this very hard, due to our connection going on and off literally every 2min.

Anyway, dominant win for Francis44 with Macd taking 2nd and therefore back into the lead in the championship.
