Which he should do - and his 3rd BRC in 4 years! Yet nobody is mentioning him for 'bigger drives'. I always thought he was quicker than Breen....

Would tend to agree with you Andy, but difficult to compare. Cronin has always been on a limited budget and therefore is unable to gain as much international experience and experience in different cars/classes as Breen has done.
I think Cronin has only done two events in S2000 (Punto and Proton) but with his odd French outing as well he's getting there. Not sure he has proven himself for greater things just yet.

Tom, what happened Greer with his tyres?

Keith Cronin was very good in Barum rally 2010 despite the crash! It's not easy event for newcomers but he was one of those few who were fast right from the start even in Proton.

Pryce takes the lead from Cave after SS5 :bounce:
Cave has one stage left to go to reduce his 8"8 gap now ;)

Tom, what happened Greer with his tyres?

According to RallyBRC website he had problems with a rear tyres studs at the end of SS1, forcing him to stop

I think Tom Cave is winner indeed ;)
And Keith Cronin is BRC + CRT UK champion :bounce:

Think Tom wins on Stage1 countback, by 0.1 of a second.

Keith wins his 3rd BRC, but not the Citroen UK Trophy & €10,000 prize, which I think goes to Tom.

Just back in sunny Kent after my w/e oop north. Very noticeable how cautious Cronin was on the Dalby night stage -first on the road in the dark is first to find a problem and going out due to a 'silly' would have been daft. On Saturday he was little different (visibly) to Cave and Price. Very sad to only see 12 cars in the last round of the premier GB series, at least all 12 were on it.
Now all we need to do is convince JML to bring his Mk II to the RAC and go hth with Banner ;)

How so in your opinion should or could Cronin prove himself for greater things ?

At the end of season I like to ask your feelings about this R2/R3 championship? Was it good idea or bad? What media and spectators talk about those "small" cars? Just because I know that they think that same thing in Finland also. This moment they are planning that next 3 year's here are 3 different class in FRC(4wd cars, R1/R2 and R3/group n/2wd tbo diesel). But after that here is a change that only 2wd cars are allowed in FRC. That's why I like to know your feelings about it...

The organisers of the BRC had no other choice really. In the last few years there have been 1, maybe 2 S2000 cars in the BRC - they are far too expensive to run. When I've been to the BRC events this year , there have been younger drivers at the front flat out & committed - Evans, Cave, Cronin, Pryce, Nikara, Donnelly, Korhonen, Kumpamaki, etc I doubt they could all have afforded to run a S2000.

However, it will change again next year, when the BRC will run under National permits.

Just to echo what AndyRAC said ^
The earlier rounds were absorbing for the level playing field the series created . No longer did the deepest pocket have a massive advantage (even if we all mourn the passing of Pugsworth). For Rally Yorkshire it was sad that the event suffered from a foregone conclusion feel / higher objectives by one. But at the end of the day a very good driver beat the new kids on the block to reinforce his credentials as one worth a place in European / World events.
