Hi Crew,

Next round of the RBR Mod Free Championship (Jan 3-10) is the 1000 Lakes Finland rally.

I need suggestions for stages to include. I think of this rally as a FAST rally, so I'm leaning towards including all the fast stages from USA, Japan, Oz as well as Sikakama from Finland (yep- a snow stage).

Any suggestions?

For USA I'd say just about every stage but Prospect Ridge would be fine. In Japan only really Noiker is suitable, not sure about Oz, maybe NewBobs but certainly not East-West or Greenhills.

This is why I dropped this round from my championship, cos there aren't really any suitable roads and conditions for Finland. Even the Finland stages in gravel mod aren't really great.

My roadbook suggestion for Neste rally:

Chirdonhead (GB)
Fraizer Wells (USA)
New Bobs I (AUS)
Sipirkakim (JAPAN)
Noiker I (JAPAN)
Shepherds Shield (GB)
New Bobs II (AUS)
Mustaselka I (FIN)
Mustaselka II (FIN)

Please note that all the above stages are Into the forests,
and pretty fast, so quite close to the real thing. :D

Yes It's Mineshaft, but Isn't It quite technical and twisty for Finland?

edit: do a test run of Mustaselka...It's got some long straights and a couple of great jumps!

I'm going to have a mess about with my steering wheels settings and see if I can address the problems I mentioned in one of the other threads. Lets hope I can continue to compete on this fine forum :)
