Mark Champeau

Can some one on here, maybe from France tell me more about Mark Champeau, he seems to have astounding car control and I know he did Rally Catalunya in 1999 but retired with an accident. Did he have many victories in the French National series and do people think he could have gone further in the WRC if he had not met an untimely end :(

Big fan of Champeau's driving, only on video of course. He certainly had a big fan base in France, fantastic car control.

Apparently he did some top 10 times before early retirement on Catalunya Rally '99.

Makes you wonder if he would've got as far as say Loeb, a same generation driver. Defenitly prefere his driving style to say the least. :)
