I'm glad the second race isn't 20 laps, doing practice around 10 is quite tough to say the least! I'll be honest, I don't like Snetterton, it has no flow, but I'll be interested to see other peoples times for this

Looking forward to this. Aren't the car assignments wrong though? I'm shooting myself in the foot here.

My runs were not the best, I just couldn't find a decent rhythm.

Race 1: I took a big hit in race 1, the car was damaged, and I had lost loads of time. DNF for that race.

Race 2: I'm glad we didn't do 20 laps, 10 was quite tough to say the least, I finished this one, but it was a slow time as I had many collisons.

Results within a few hours...

All others in attendance could play the role of a spoiler..

Depending on who showed the mansufacturers race could fall to anyone

It was the final weekend of the TOCA2 Touring Car Series and much was as stake for the field with two very tight battles set to be decided over the next two races.

The weekend started off in rainy conditions, and it was the Audi of #1JTFan who took pole in race one. JonBrown followed a second and change behind in the Renault, followed by the Nissan of Tannat and the Ford of AlfaFan. IronRooster was unable to make the grid due to an accident while qualifying.

In the end #1JTFan ran a brisk pace and won by eight seconds over the Renault of Jon Brown, giving him a vital 11 points and all but ensuring him of the driver’s championship. Tannat rounded out the podium with AlfaFan taking fourth in the Ford.

Final race of the championship and the grid was rewarded with dry but cloudy conditions for qualifying and the feature.

#1JTFan again took pole in the Audi narrowly beating the Renault of Jon Brown by 1/100th of a second! Tannat followed this pair in the Nissan just half a second adrift. IronRooster took fourth spot on the grid followed by AlfaFan.

At the conclusion of the longest race of the season #1JTFan had the goods to bring it home, winning the race by nearly 10 seconds over Jon Brown, and giving him the title (well done  ). Tannat rounded out the podium in a quiet third spot.

IronRooster’s final race performance was able to stave off a late championship charge from Alfa Fan. AlfaFan finished ahead on track (fourth) but the five points garnered was two shy of the amount needed to surpass IronRooster in the ratings.

Ford won the manufacturers cup narrowly over Nissan and Renault.

I want to thank everyone for participating. Had a couple of rocky spots with breaks a bit too long which slowed the momentum, but I appreciate all of you seeing this through to the end.

Cheers,

Tannat

Well done JT fan on a double victory and taking the title :champion: , you've driven very well, as has Jon Brow, in fact, well done to everybody who took part. I might not have done well in every round, but I have enjoyed myself

But of course, the biggest thanks go to tannat, for organising this series

If tannat is busy competing in the RBR Motorsport forums cup and running the mod-free championship, I would be willing to run a TOCA 2 championship...

I wasn´t part of the championship but oh man,ToCa Touring cars and ToCa2 bring me back some excellent memories. I really loved the era of supertourers and I really loved both games too. Also driven the 99 season as had to borrow the PC version of my friend a long ago just do load the 99 pack from the net to drive that year.

Well done to Tannat for organising and for all who take part and of course for JTFan for taking the title. Also nice to see Ford taking the manufacturers, followed by Nissan and Renault. Fav cars of mine from supertourers.

Anyway if this cup runs another year, might buy this game and take part at the championship,if it still goes on.

Well done IR on keep it consistent and reaping the rewards at the end. I just hadn't got it in me to race due to certain circumstances, but it's been great racing with you all. Perhaps we could revive some championships from Toca Race Driver 2 or 3 in the new year instead :)

Cheers paddy, and perhaps we should revive some of the toca race driver championships that were held in this forum in the past. Or perhaps a offline championship with the RACE series?
