Race City

Hey you Albertans and especially Calgarians, any idea what effect the civic elections will have on the fate of the Race City track?

Dunno. Race City currenlty leases the land for the track from the City of Calgary. The lease expires at the end of 2011, after which the city wants to use the land to expand the nearby landfill :mark:
I'm not sure that the recent civic elections will change the lease agreement. I know that Race City was trying to campaign the city to set aside and alternative area for the track's relocation, but that hasn't happened yet.
