Thanks but i did find that page and thought it was a bit vague, didn't know if anyone on here was working at Rockingham that day and could give us some times.

Hi.
It's a reasonable expectation for the testing itself to start at 1pm.

I don't know what you are hoping to learn, but I very much suspect that the teams will do what they want, when they want to do it. I doubt if it will be a timetable.

The teams will do what they're told to.... interviews/announcements/photos/tracking shots in the morning, test session in the afternoon.

I didn't expect an exact timetable of what the teams are doing just what time we could get in and roughly when it will finish in case i can't make it until late afternoon.
Also not particularly interested in the press stuff so it would be good if the testing was afternoon. So if cos's post is right that would be good.

I'll be around Rockingham tomorrow afternoon for a few photos and to have a nosie...I'll not be at the real thing in April so this'll be a good chance to see the new breed of tintoppers for 2007.

Report and photos to follow tomorrow then...

Al.

BTCC confirm use of the ISSC layout, with Mr Gow saying:
It’s not uncommon for our drivers to run side-by-side through corners at most circuits and at Turn 1 we could even see as many as five abreast. With a flat-out approach and a high wall on the edge of the track it will not be for the feint-hearted

Given BTCC driving standards I would go for the mess option.

Just back from having a look at media day - loads of people there. In summary BTCC needs more V8s :) Photo's later.

They must be worried being so close to some great quality racing the following weekend, northants 96 radio were there today handing out slips of paper saying "congratulations you have won 2 tickets to btcc rockingham" all you had to do was put your name and address on and hand them into rockingham.
