I was thinking of setting up a offline league similar to the Toca 2 league, that tannat is doing(and a good job may I add)

anybody interested? it doesn't matter if you have the PS3/360 or PC version as its offline after all

Rooster-I'll run on the SBK07 platform in this league if you'll allow it.

Of course only on the tracks that 07 has in common with SBKX...

Perhaps I'll be a bit slower, maybe even a lot slower, but I will be able to compete.

that may be a option, but as you say, you might be slower in some cases, but if I run a championship I only have tracks that feature in both games.

I am interested. What do you propose the rules will be?

The scoring would be based on the real life scoring of the World Superbike Championship.

There will be two races at the same track, just like the real championship. Points will be awarded for position in terms of total race time.

Simulation settings for SBK X users would be set to 'medium', as having it set to 'full' may be daunting for some users.

AI difficulty would either be amateur or professional.

this is just a provisional set of ideas.

Perhaps one of you two could let me know your best lap time on a circuit..

How about Phillip Island?

Haven't even ridden it yet! Doing career mode and in the SuperStocks you only race on the European tracks.

I've started my first season in the superbike class, riding for the BMW Motorad team, pretty tough.

You guys pick a European track other than Valencia....

What the Italian track, or the German one?

I was thinking on these set of rules:

Instead of being based only on lap time, scoring will be allocated in terms of race position. if two riders each finish in the same position, then the faster overall race time will decide the position.

for example, you might finish, first in a race, but someone else may finish first as well, so if your race time is slower, you would actually finish second

each round will be a 'race weekend', with practice, qualifying, superpole and two races. for that reason, the race calender will not be large(plus this is the first time I've organised something like this)

feedback welcomed

Would all of this(practice, qualifying, superpole and two races) be submitted at once?

no, qualifying can be sent before the race results if you so desire.(practice doesn't really matter)
