Yes, indeed it was a very spectacular event. I was in S.Marino already on Friday evening, I went to see stages No.1&3. A lot of action, nice, short stage. It was very exciting standing one meter away from the cars at the start of the stage, you can not imagine those aromatic fragranc-mix of gasoline, exhaust gases (not catalyst...), oil.....but for a true motorsport lover this is it!! And the acceleration from standstil of Audi S1, Delta S4, Ford RS200....amazing brutal power, you can not experience something like that even with WRCs.
Many interesting moments also on Saturday, especially with the demonstration drive of Lancia ECV-first public drive in the history!!
If you have a chance to visit this great event, do not miss the opportunity, as you will have something to see...See you next year!

i was in san marino already for the 3rd time and i will come back again in 2011 as it is one of the best events of the year!
as ucci already wrote it has something very special, the atmosphere, the smell, the sound, the night stages, the cars, the people...it is a lot what makes Rallylegend so special

only one thing is a bit dangerous, the safety zones are almost as they where 20 years ago, to be honest the safety zones are zero...in my opinion it is to dangerous even if the most drivers are not on 100%, a driver mistake or a material mistake (puncture) can happen everytime and there is almost no space for mistakes....

Iam James Avis i own and rally the RS200 on Rally Legends,for me the greatest thing about Rally Legends is the Fans ,and remember without you there would be no rally and i would have to keep the car in the garage, and nobody would see it,so a big thanks to you for making it possible for me to do great stages and have a great time

I know this is an old thread, but I am thinking of going to this eventy this year and I was just after some info from people that had visited it.

How busy does it get and can you get to the stages easily?

Can anyone recommend a decent hotel?

It really is worth traveling all the way from the UK for? :)
