Sure, why not?
It would be great to have a WRC championship among RBR and TOCA2!
As long as It attracts some new members of course! ;)

It looks good and looks promising but yes at first I really have to test it to see will I buy it or will I buy F12010 even when F1 in real life doesnīt interest me as it kept to.
It would be just really nice to have some memories once more for the WRC game. Atleast some of us surely remembers when on the forum were running a WRC championship and BRC championship too. Those were just awesome!
Will we also use multiple classes like SWRC,PWRC and JWRC on some events too like we did with the old days?
What about will we have the teams or will we just drive the cars we love to?
Also one thing we still really have to test is that how well the different consoles and PC version will be in comparision because from some videos as talked in other forum, you get the idea that PS3 might be a bit slightly quicker and different than X360 example.
Im also PS3 user. If I remember right... Schless is my PSN.

The problem seems to be that WRC2010 havenīt got too many players from these forums. If more people would step up maybe some PC/X-Box360/PS3 cup like the IRC could be possible where you could use S2000īs,Gr.N cars and S1600īs .
Then again if we go for WRC like we used to at the past, we would really need more players. Also I would say that just after christmas sales we will know does we really even have a change at running some championship.
So my tip is to wait. Maybe we could try a single rally but nothing bigger we shouldnt plan yet. GT5 and many other titles where people could move are still to come.

I was a bit disapointed by the demo, I might search around on the net to see if I can get a decent price for it, but I certainly would not pay 40 pounds for it.

In fact, I'm working over an off-line WRC championship,
for all platforms: PC,XBOX360 & PS3.
Here's the main structure:
rnd1-WRC class :4 rallies-8 stages
rnd2-SWRC class :4 rallies-8 stages
rnd3-GroupB class :5 rallies-10 stages
Rules:
1.Rallies will be played offline, via custum championship feature.
2.Each round will use total stage times to determine the finishing
positions and the same will go for season's standings.
3.Free choice of car, from each round's specified class.
My thought Is the series, to be as less complicated as possible,
so everyone can easily give It a go!
How do you feel about It?

Doesnīt sound so bad and yes everyone will surely know how to put the rallyes for the championship mode..
Still as I havenīt been trying,I really donīt know can you select the stages at the custom championship mode?? What Iīve been playing single rallyes,no matter how many stages I select them are always random stages what appears what may mean that if its the same at championship, only some people would actually drive even the rally what is meant. I will make sure this later when next time I start the WRC game and hopefully Iīm wrong.
Offline is still a good way to go to get as many people to the championship and therefore also have the most fun with it.
-Do we still take the time after each stage too?? -and after each rally the overall rally time too??
-How we will calculate the overall time of each round? do we get a form for it like at some of the previous championships? Of course also counting it at your head works :)
-Do we need some kind of prove for our times or is it based to good old honesty??
-I guess the "restart the stage" feature will be banned or will it be??
Anyway sounds nice otherwise and Iīm pretty likely in... I will probably do some rounds atleast before I move to Germany.

Only each rally's overall times needed.

You don't calculate anything. You take a screenshot (or photo) of each rally's overall time board and sent It to me via pm.I'll do the rest.
-Do we need some kind of prove for our times or is it based to good old honesty??
You have to prove your times with a screenshot of each rally's overall times board (that's 4 or 5 screenshots per round)
-I guess the "restart the stage" feature will be banned or will it be??
Everyone's free to do the rallies as many times as he wishes, BUT must be through custom championship mode, not stage by stage.
Unfortunatelly, the biggest down Is that In custom championship, you may choose the countries order but not the stages.
That means that each rally will have only the first 2 or 3 stages to race...
But I guess we can live with that! ;)

After playing the demo a bit more, I've warmed to this game, I may get it. LCD, your idea for a offline championship sounds pretty cool

I quite changed my mind on this...The championship Idea might sound a bit confusing, since the game doesn't give us an option to customize stages...
How about single Time Attack events ?
One challenge (stage) every week with specific car class allowed!
Anyone's free to do the stage as many times as he wishes, untill he
manages the best time possible. A best time screenshot will be needed.
Should I move on with It? :p

Why don't you do a interest thread and see how many people indicate their interest?
I don't want to sound negative, but you might not get many entrants, after all there are two RBR championships running at the moment...

I wouldn't be Interested In those following the RBR championships actually...
I'd rather see If there are any WRC game fans In these forums.
So maybe an Interest thread would be the best way to find out! ;)
