I like junipers, although they are about as much cone trees as Canada is a country. I have two in my garden (junipers, not Canadas).

DADE COUNTY PINE is a subspecies of Heart Pine. Dade County Pine groww between the Everglades and the Atlantic in South Florida. Dade County Pine closely resembles Heart Pine in appearance and equals it in strength and durability. The chief difference between the two is that Dade County Pine tends to be even denser.

So far, I haven't seen any cones in ANY of those pictures of supposed 'cone' trees.

Slightly off topic, but I had some pine nuts on saturday and it has affected my taste, leaving a bitter, metallic taste after eating or drinking anything, not pleasant.

So I did a search on boogle and apparently it's not uncommon, it may last up to 2 weeks, so enjoy your pine cones, but watch out for the nuts.....
