what made the race was Stewart basically taking out Boris after he ran him off the track.

and 4-time and Hamlin wrecking :D

Glad to see Juan seal the deal yesterday.

Kurt Busch looked great also.

Boris just cannot stay out of trouble. Just as long as you didn't have any fantasies of Boris winning if Stewart didn't take him out. I personally think Stewart was at fault, but I don't know what the protocol is for guys letting the guys back on after they run out to the left there, but I do know Boris usually ends up with torn up sheet metal in most races for a good reason....

Good run by Juan. I had Marcos in my pool and I took the 3rd happily since most of the guys in my pool used their Montoya picks for Infineon and Indy.....

The thing is for Juan, he has to display that same patience he used last year getting into the chase. He has to race like that all the time..and the oval win will come....

That race was awesome.

Ambrose & JPM duelling mid race, JPM smoking the brakes and on the absolute limit into the bus stop. Great to watch.

As Ambrose said (http://www.nascar.com/2010/news/headlines/cup/08/08/jmontoya.wins.watkins.glen/index.html): "I had nothing for Montoya there toward the end. Congratulations to him -- he drove a heck of a race. Just a lot of fun racing a guy with that much talent. He was swinging around the corners, jumping curbs, locking tires. It was just a really good battle, something I'll take away from this weekend as a memory I'll never forget."

Yet many NASCAR fans would tell you with a straight face they don't get road courses. What we saw convinces me I would take 2 or 3 more road course races in Cup but I know we wont see them...

Montoya finally does it!!!!! I was so happy when he won, I wasn't really sure if he would keep the lead but ambrose wasn't able to get good restarts and Montoya did an excellent job keeping Ambrose behind him for about 8 laps. the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBRm_LpIk9w........shows how Montoya kept him behind him through those crucial laps!

That's why I watch the Canadian Tire series when I can.

It's been awhile since I've seen so many stories about the winner of a NASCAR Cup race. Not since the Daytona 500, I'm guessing. I don't think the BY400 winner got as many write-ups as I've seen on Google News from different sources.

Juan... spreading the good word. :s mokin:

Now get out there and win an oval race! :bounce:
