The second round of the 2010 MaxAttack! Series presented by the Danza del Sol winery was, like the opening round, a hard-fought competition between nearly 30 two-wheel-drive rally cars. The New England Forest Rally, took place on July 16 and 17, and was based at the Sunday River Ski Resort near Newry, Maine and utilized stages in both Maine and New Hampshire. Once again there were a number of manufacturers represented, with Volkswagen being the most popular of the 13 marques. There were front-drive cars, rear-drive cars, turbocharged cars, a pickup, and even a Volkswagen Rabbit powered by used cooking oil.
