As mentioned before, heading out to Germany for the WRC, is the offical website the only way you can get the tickets or can you buy them in petrol stations / local shops near Trier??

I know this is a long shot.... is there any way of getting any discount on the tickets ??

Am i right in thinking that Rally Deutschland is weekend tickets only and you are unable to "pay at the gate" for each stage?

And one final question...... has anyone got their tickets delivered yet ?

Cheers

Rick

You can purchase them in the rally area and there are also stage tickets available at the spectator points.

They cost € 10,- (€15,- for Panzerplatte) and are valid for both runs of a stage.

Ah... that's good to know that you can buy tickets per stage (which includes the re-run) rather than buying the full passes.

I guess just just a case of working out which stages we are doing each day seeing if its cost effective or not.

Thanks for that -

Rick the outlets are all described on the Rally website, and it's in English (but not Tyke) :)

I'm buying mine from the autobahn services info point en route as I hope the euro will fall a little more by then :p

Factor in admission to shake down and service park (new cost per visit) and the bronze ticket is worthwhile. Don't know how hot the control will be but at Ypres every approach road we went to was marshalled for ticketing.

Q to Hari - Is there a car park close to Gina at Panzerplatte or is it a case of a hike to get there. Also, once there is it possible to leave while the stage is live?

there are 3 Carparks with bus-shuttle to the centrum of the arena Panzerplatte, from there you have to walk. maybe 15-20 minutes. the buss-shuttle serve all day long, so you can leave the stage.

 Danke. I'll watch the whole field through at Gina then walk back to the arena zone for the WRC pass in the afternoon then leave to catch activity back at Trier.

I think i will get mine in resort or en route. Taking into account access to the service parks, I think the passes will be the best option as we are staying only 5 minute walk from the service park.

Has any one got access to the Official Rally programme yet ??
