Well the rumour mill is already up and running for who will be where next season and first of them is Robert Kubica who looks like he'll stay at Renault, but it only seems like he will if they can tie up this rumoured sponsorship deal with Mastercard.

We were led to believe that Kimi was having a year away then coming back to drive for Red Bull, now that webber has extended his contract for another year ,and Vettel is golden boy, where is Kimi going to?

Could Vettel be off perhaps? Mercedes?

With Mark only on a one year extension I can't see RBR letting Vettel go.

The main players are staying put so it will be a quiet driver market.

Now if we are talking silly season how about the Rossi to Ducati and then *possibly* Ferrari in 2013 rumor.

Probably from Citreon Junior to Citreon Sport if anywhere.

MasterCard becomes title supposer of Renault, Kimi to Renault.

I guess that would mean Kubica stays and Petrov is out, he should have no problem finding a drive amongst the newbies or maybe Sauber as his roubles could come in handy

There are some things in the world that will always remain in the status of "rumour". This is one of them (Rossi and F1).

ART drop bid for 2011 F1 entry. considering the rather silly 107% despite the franchise system, and the too-late-for-the-newbies-to-be-useful 13th slot announcement, i dont blame them.

Here's an idea, why not ditch the 2011 season for another newbie, rework it to make the entry in 2012 instead, pick them now and then that gives them a whole year to get themselves sorted plus design and build a car, that to me would make more sense.

The 107% rule coming in has simply given what LdM wanted, its frightening 13th slot candidates away :(

If that is the case then the rule is performing an excellent function and raising standards.

F1 does not need another two slow cars out there. Ferrari ought to be allowed to run a third car :D

RBR want Vettel to sign until 2015 - naturally he should push for an absolute universe full of money especially if he wins the 2010 WDC.

He should also require an out should Newey leave AND demand clear cut number ONE status - no exceptions whatsoever.

Dear old Sebastian has ARRIVED! Well done.

I see that 2012-'13 is going to be the next exciting period with almost everyone's contracts ending and new technical rules (with possibly new manufacturers joining) being enforced.

So Kubica has a lot of belief in Renault. He stayed at BMW-Sauber for 3.5 seasons and although they got close, they were never really quite "there" and winning races on merit. Is the Renault experiment going to be another "nearly" one? If so, I'd imagine Kubica becoming desperate pre-13 to finally join a proven title-winning team. Same with Rosberg, to be honest. :p :

Renault’s team boss Eric Bouiller has confirmed that Toro Rosso’s Sébastien Buemi has a ‘special place’ on their list of potential drivers for the 2011 season.
