Hardest Riddle on the Internet - Have a go!

This has had me scratching my head for hours :S

this is tough, but amazing when you work it out, its hard work, but very rewarding, i'm onto level 4 with no problems, but level 4 has had me thinking, i'm on the tip of getting it.

How far can you get???

I got a little further, but I think it gets beyond reasonable.

It took a while though.

I got to about 41 with some help last year. Took up about a week of holidays. :D I probably wouldn't be able to get to that point again, but I reckon I could get to about 17 again without help.

The increasing amount of computer gismo's you need to download put me off, however.

If my holidays become needlessly boring (which it don't look like they will), then I'll try again. :D
