Jeff Gordon's #24-Chevy, for some reason no one really wanted to explain, wound up with a tank of gasoline that wasn't the right stuff, when it was filled up at the Sunoco gas pumps Friday morning. Sunoco officials said they couldn't discuss the situation and referred questions to NASCAR officials NASCAR officials said they were studying the situation and didn't have anything to say just yet........

I am waiting for the cheating accuastions to start. The fact is, NASCAR.com reported it was Letarte's guys who brought it to NASCAR's attention that the fuel they found in the cell wasn't died the colour it should have been for this week's race. I think someone at Sunoco maybe made a mistake or something.

I don't think there is anything sinister, but then again, it is NASCAR, and weird things happen. All we know is the car had a drug test and failed....so where is Jeremy Mayfield in all of this??? lmao...

I think someone just doesn't want to admit he was confused by the fuel pump.

I think they figured the Diesels dominate Lemans, why not try Nascar :p :
