I figured this is about the only place to post this.
This year is the 50th year for Mosport and the track is almost the same as it was back then only safer. It is the fastest road racing track in NA.
This weekend is the Vintage Automobile Racing Assoc. of Canada Vintage Festival. It actually starts today.
Featured Marque is MG with over 50 entries. One is Frank Mount in a TC but 50 years ago it was a Twin Cam A.
Also there is the infamous Al Pease factory supercharged MGB that was unbelievably quick. Canada's "improved production class" was pretty wild. Al will be there as part of the pit crew at age 83. Oh and he did drive in F1. Another crew member will be my old teamate and F Atlantic driver Gary Magwood.
Several other drivers from the first year will also be racing.
I marshaled the first year but started my racing career the next year.
Also featured is the 50th Anniversary of the Mini and there will be lots of them present.
So for all Ont./Quebec/ upper NY members come on out.
$35 for the weekend and free camping, paddock admission and free admission to the Sat. Stock Car races on Mosport's paved 1/2 mile, if the rain holds off!
New for me I will be there as part of the media.
