Sounds terrible for Vale. The MotoGP site says he's broken his shinbone and will miss the race. It's all coming up Jorge at the moment.

Compound fracture of the Tibia for Vale........ that is the best part of 6 weeks minimum on the sidelines, even if things go exceedingly well in recovery.

His year, and title run....... are done. Jorge's to lose now.

That's horrendous news osg. Hope he can come back from it ok. Hard to see Jorge get beat now but then it only takes one little slip up.

Turn 13... just crested the rise, change of direction and highsided..... 120mph + apparently.

Youtube clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4lYnZD8rV8

Incredible to think that's his first missed GP since March 1996...... 231 straight GP's. Incredible run, but it always comes to an end at some point. :(

I'm gutted.

Anyways...... quali: Pedrosa a surprise P1 for me.... Jorge a smidgen behind then daylight to Crashey Stoner in P3.

Anyone any idea why Dovi is so rubbish in quali, yet always comes good in the race? I always see him come through the field from 7th or 8th on the grid - what would happen if he started at the front I wonder ;)

Doci ahs managed to get a base setup that works superbly in the races but not so well on soft tyres, hence his race rides are very well

It is very hard to tell a rider to change a setup when it works well where it matters!

The 125 race was fantastic! The top 4 covered by .161 of a second! Nice to see Marquez crack it for his maiden win. Between he, Pol Espargaro and Nico Terol, Spain have some awesone talent coming up behind already established stars Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

Iannone was on another planet in Moto2, brilliant ride. The battle for 2nd was sensational! I was really hoping for Luthi to get it but he just missed the podium. All the riders in that battle had opportunities and mistakes, it was just a case of when they happened.

MotoGP was typically strung out at the front but a good battle for the minor placings. Dani rode a magnificent race whilst Jorge was clearly miffed at his comparitive lack of pace. Dovizioso is coming of age this year and it's terrific to see. Actually, Honda as a whole is starting to come good. Stoner had a terrific battle with Randy and Melandri and it was nice to see him come out on top. It appears that is all the Ducati is capable of at the moment. Spies impressed with further improvement whilst it was really disappointing to see Hayden fall in another Ducati front end crash.

All-in-all, a good nite of racing.
