Heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio passed away Sunday morning, of cancer
Dio performed with Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell, and Dio.

RJD will be missed indeed. Kept on rocking even the age of 67. A great voice and a fantastic performer right until his illness.

Bummer, we lose another great.

I saw him as Dio and with Black Sabbath.

He will be missed.

words fail me....was playing Dio's hits from Elf , Rainbow , Sabbath n Dio all the time

That's a shock. Judging by press releases he was recovering. Too bad.

I will always remember him as a one of the greatest rock'n'roll singers of all times. Rainbow Rising is a great artistic statementn. Mob Rules is heavy metal at its best. Last in Line is a trip through a fantasy universe.
