so.... what are the results? did I finish dead last AND 2nd to last? I was happy with my run in the V8 until I saw the lap time that were being turned when the virtual series made it's stop hear earlier this season!

so are the results of this race lost forever? do you remember what your winning time & your lap times were Mr Brown? so I know how far off the pace I am?

thanks tannat! I had so much fun running this race, I'd sure like to know how I did.

I don't expect to do well... so no need to feel sorry for me once the numbers are posted :)

You are puzzled over your performance. I'll help you as best I can:

1) Both of my races were 1 stop races. The 360 was remarkably frugal with tires (I used the default as prescribed by the rules-0.50 hardness), and the V8 I wen with the hardest tire possible (1.00) -big mistake. Could have gone softer, and my lap times sucked...

2) Your V8 fast lap time seems on the pace, but I think you could extract a bit more from the KFC C5R. I was taking that hard left after the uphill section at the beginning of the lap at around the 31 second range, the next sharp left which takes you downhill and onto Conrod Straight at about the 1;06 range, and going under the bridge before the final left of the lap at the 1:30-1:32 range.

3)Go back and consider your race:racing is alot like a hole in golf. The fastest lap you set for a track is like 'par' and everything below that non-desirable. Think of those 'non-desirables' that took away a faster overall time from you..

But you know, you really didn't do so badly, and you were in very good racing company

that's about what I expected. thanks for the tips! my fastest laps were decent enough for me... I know my consistancy is what hurts me, not to mention doing the races in two stops.

I think the reason my V8 times were better than the C5R time is because I ran the V8 race later and knew the track better.

when I can I'll run some more laps and compare our sector times. thanks for that!

my new goal is consistancy, and getting more laps out of my tires!
