Solowow didn't start in 1000 Miglia aswell . Weird :D
Solowow didn't start in 1000 Miglia aswell . Weird :D
Maybe he doesn't have enough money!!! :p
He was driving Rajd Elmot in the same date as Mille Miglia. As far as I know he originally didn't plan ERC this year. After all he entered Mille Miglia but when Elmot was moved on same date because of funeral of president he drove in Poland as Polish championship is his priority.

No sponsors this year ! :D

Yes he did, but he canceled his entry when the date change of Elmot was sure.

That's possible :)
In same date as Croatia is Rajd Lotos, round of polish championship. As Michal told that polish championship is his priority this year, he will start in Poland.
Rossetti on entry list of Croatia is also a good reason not to participate ;-)
Why do you think? Last year on Barum Solowow beaten Rossetti :) And on some events Michal wasnt so far from Basso...
PLuto, you forgot that Rossetti had a problem with a car. On stage 13 he lost over 3 min. and before this he was faster over 1,5min than Solowow. And this was his first Barum, Solowow was here for the 6th time. Rosssetti is a higher class driver.
Solowow was not far from Basso because Giandomenico let him :)
It was Rossetti's second start :) Yes, Rossetti is good driver, but Michal made a good progress last year.
Rossetti was also quite a long time in a ditch on SS Pindula ;)

Solowow didn't start in 1000 Miglia aswell . Weird :D
It's not that weird. Solowow will start his limited ERC programme on the Rally of Poland in June. He will not compete in all rounds this year. Polish championship has higher pririty for him this time.
It's good to see Dimitar Iliev on the entry list. It will be interesting to see how fast he can be in Super 2000 car.

I don't think Solowow has any specific programme for ERC this year. They haven't published any press releases about it. I think they will be competing in those rallies that don't collide with Polish championship rounds and that are not very difficult from logistical point of view.
He will for sure start on Barum. He said that on Valašská. He is also registred into Czech championship.
Thanks for the information Jarek and Mirek!!!

Jaroslav and Miroslav :)

You are right, I forgot that he also drove a Fiat :-)
I can't see any progress of Solowow, he probably reached his limit or is very, very close to it.

Local heroes Juraj Sebalj, his co-driver Toni Klinc and their new Mitsubishi Lancer were fastest on today's shakedown. Luca Rossetti didn't participate. Maciej Oleksowicz was surprised that on some parts of the route it was snowing (!) and on other parts the weather was sunny. The rally starts on Friday afternoon.

Both Bulgarian crews (Iliev and Gyoshev) had an accident and retired in SS2 of the rally. Rossetti is leading after SS2!

It looks that both bulgarian crews crashed on same place - in chicane, maybe this chicane was missing in their pacenotes?
I'm a bit surprised by Fontana's speed compared to Rosseti.

What a bad start of the season for Iliev. First problems in Bulgaria and now this. He started his season even worse than Kuzaj! :)

I think those strange times have their background in Rossetti's educational approach. I think that he is a good teacher and decided to show the other drivers how much they still have to learn ;)

It's Saturday and I'm in good mood :)
I wish the same to you HaCo and all my friends from the forum! :)
Rosetti is really hitting hard. In 3 stages an advantage of 2:30!

Looks like it is a few locals with S2000 cars new to them, or pure gentlemen drivers - is it so ?
No it is obviusly the difference in driver's quality-Rossetti is one class higher....

As far as Oleksowicz is concerned, he was driving Peugeot 207 S2000 last year (http://rallyonline.pl:84/ft.php?idg=4079&pg_[go]=34).
As soon as he learned the car and started doing good stage times, he decided to switch it to Ford Fiesta S2000 and jump to European Championship (http://rallyonline.pl:84/ft.php?idg=4706&pg_[go]=38). So now everything is new to him again - the car, the championship, the rallies... and he has to learn again. Add to that the heavy rains over Croatia (and Oleksowicz doesn't like driving in the rain at all) and you have explanation of his bad stage times...

Thanks for the video! As someone suggested yesterday, it must have been some mistake in Iliev's pace notes, he was waaaay to fast in this corner!

Yes, it was his mistake in pacenotes, he has confirmed it also in interview after first leg.
