At 1:39 has to be my favourite ever slide. I remember seeing it on the telly and was just open mouthed, almost had the same reaction as the Rossi/Jorge/Barcelona pass.

The thrill of what they do (for themselves and the spectator in the stands) is enormous, but equally, when it all goes wrong, the consequences can be severe. Wow! That must be so difficult to actually do. Besides the psychological and initial physical issues of overcoming paralysis the task of riding a bike, and the way that you have to shift your weight, must be a real strain.

Colin Edwards has been a fairly maligned rider for the past few years. However, one thing is for certain - MotoGP would be a much less interesting place without him. No gimmicks, just a funny character.

Nice link Rod (and congrats on 600 posts...). The GoPro cameras don't get enough love in my opinion. If they were made by Apple then they would be heiled for their brilliance. They bring such high quality pictures for relatively cheap money that even the average punter can make quality motorsport vids for all to see. My cousin made some good trail riding vids with my brother a while back and another mate of mine has some cool footage from his club racing on his Daytona 675. Love to get one just to chuck on my roadbike.
