Talladega advice

I'm going to be attending my NASCAR race at Talladega in October. Does anyone have any advice for a newbie?

Be ready to party hard....I hear the camping and party scene in the infield is pretty wild. Add in that it is halloween and people will just be in the spirit.

I have been told tho that one of things to do is watch the dirt track racing just down the way, and go to the International Motorsports Hall of Fame on the property as well....

If your not a camping person like me and stay in hotels...leave real early in the morning. Even with attendance down, 'dega is in the middle of nowhere and there aren't a lot of roads leading to the track.

We're camping at the trackCool beans! Campers always have the advantage if you want to get driver autographs when they sign at their souvy trailers because you have to get there early for a ticket.
