I'm starting the thread but not holding out much hope that there will be a race today.....

I'm sure Nascar will try everything it can to find a "window" but the radar picture does not look real good. Cup practice is supposed to start in 30 minutes, we'll see how it goes....

Nascar live on Speed is on now.....and it is raining at the track.
Looking for 2-3 hrs of steady rain, and a hole on the backisde of that to get the track dried, and maybe some of the nationwide race in.....

Yep, I gave up at 6pm and took the wife to dinner....and they pulled the plug at 6:30....


Unfortunately, tomorrows forecast doesn't look much better...

There may be a race at 9 tonight but it will probably be the Cup race.

nationwide race to be at 5pm Monday, after the cup race

shrub seems to have returned to top form, and WTF was Boyaay doing?!?!?!
He takes Harvick and Logano 3-wide, as they are battleing for position, stays there for more than a lap, then blames the contact on Harvick? Hey Clint, your damage was on your right front, and on Harvick's left rear....hmmmmmm, wonder whose fault that was then? Way to keep RCR's nationwide cars fresh....replace a wrecker with a wrecker????? Isn't Burton due for a Nationwide start or two?

the driver i was mostly upset with was mcmurray actually. he needed to move out of the way.

Nah, that was good racing by two equal cars at the end of the race. That's the kind of racin I was talking about after the Harvick v Logano deal at Bristol. Mcmurray wan't just bloking for all it was worth, they both were goin at it...and that's fine by me
