Just bought this to go with WTCC Race 07 and really enjoying it so far... well apart from the diesel Seats! Loads of classes of racing including World Touring cars, F3000, Formula Master, Caterhams and Radicals which corner like they on rails
Was wondering if anyone on here plays it or knows some people that do so we could get some online races going as open races are a bit scarce at the mo. Loads of classes of racing including World Touring cars, F3000, Formula Master, Caterhams and Radicals which corner like they on rails so should be able to mix the races up a bit.

I have RACE 07 and think it's a great game but don't have RACE ON. Is it an add-on for the game? Also, is there anywhere to download other touring cars (particularly BTCC cars!)?

There's a thread for the game here http://www.motorsportforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=136912 Maybe these guys would be interested in online racing.
As for mods and stuff, http://www.nogripracing.com and http://www.racedepartment.com are you best places for stuff. Loads of extra tracks, plus a 2009 WTCC pack, F1 mods, etc.

It's an add-on if you're using Steam and a package you can buy over the shelf. The nice thing about buying the package version (for you at least cos you're the same as I was) is that it comes with the Swedish Touring Car package as well, which is that whole series. And the Formula Masters cars are great racing against the AI.

lol I should really re-read my posts before I click post. Especially after chopping and changing.
Anyway, cheers for the links mate, the setup work has helped alot already, especially the Diff stuff where I suffer badly with power understeer!

Ah yes, that thread was like gold to me too, helped me take on that AI finally and helped "develop" the car during the season to the point where I've gone from occasional points to winning the last 2 rounds.

its for race on , if you download the bccc mod that i sent you link for , save the file under winrar/zip , then extract the files , click BTCC Mod , then Game Data , then copy the folder BTCC_2009 and paste it into Race On - Addons -, Teams ... do the same for the talent files and the UI Data

I have no folder for race on, nor stcc or wtcc 07...

There should be a GameData folder and maybe a another folder - just paste these into your main Race07 folder. However, you may battle to get this to work because they might use some of the STCC cars.

If you have online version you need to add them via steam..so it will be
C:Program files/Steam/Steam Apps/Your Username/Race 07/Game Data
Most Mods will have a game folder so all you need to do is drag and drop the file into the race 07 folder then it will come up with a window click on ...yes to all... and it will put the content in the right places and jobs a good one. good luck
and if you adding skins
My Documents/SimBin/Race07/Custom Skins
if there isnt a custom skin file then all you need to do is make one plus id make class files for the skins as well eg...WTCC 07, STCC, Mini's, F3000 etc

I've just bought this game, and its pretty good, to say the least. I'm playing it via my laptops keyboard at the moment, but its still enjoyable.
Is it compatible with the Xbox 360 controller?
