The 2010 Championship kicked of at Phillip Island as a support to the WSBK. Gone where the factory Kawasaki & Yamaha yeams from 2009 which would normally be disappointing, but Ducati, KTM & Aprilia joined the ranks for 2010. The racing was pretty good with both the Honda's (Maxwell, Staring & 2008 champ Allerton) mixing it with Suzuki riders (2009 champ Waters & Giles) - add the Ducati of Jamie Stauffer & KTM of Johnson it was exciting stuff. The Aprilia of Dan Stauffer needs a bit of testing still... Wayne Maxwell won both races from pole & got maximum points...

Round 2 heads to a new circuit - Hidden Valley in Darwin, where the weather will be hot & humid, riders will sweat a stack & shed some kilo's for sure...

Points Standings...

gids73.........Good to see new chums on the forum...........good little summary of the Phillip Island round. Looks like an exciting year's racing ahead with ASBK, Formula Extreme and the world scene.

The forum's been less active in the off-season as expected but the Brits and northern Europeans are just coming out of hibernation after a pig of a winter.......poor sods.
