Laguna Seca USGP

I'll be going to the USGP at Laguna Seca this year and since I've never been there I'm looking for the best place to be at the track. Is the grandstand(turn 4 or turn 11) the place to be or is general admission good enough? I'll be camping at the track on Saturday night.

Laguna is one of those tracks where there really isn't a bad spot. Great viewing from many, many different locations. That being said, I still recommend the turn 4 grandstands for two reasons. First, you get the jumbo-tron which you won't get if you're not in the grandstands. Second, it's a great spot to watch. Turn 11 grandstands are cool for seeing the start and podium, but you really don't get to see much of the racing as the bikes just fly by.

Even with the T4 grandstand pass, you'll still want to walk up to the corkscrew and the hill over looking turn 2--ideally right on the fence.
