Any Race Driver: Grid players??

I know the game is old and many has probably already sold or changed it for something else but I was wondering are here anyone who is still playing it? I was just wondering as the past Race Driver games were quite popular here after many years and had all kind of championships.

I just bought it a few days ago for 10€ and it got me to wonder is anyone here still playing it. The demo a long ago didnt really given a good image about the game itself and those days I was one who decided to pass,unfortunately.

no one I see.... was expecting this a bit as the game starts to be quite old already. Still the topic has got a good amount of views so maybe there has been atleast some ex.players.

The reason why I asked about the players is the fact that I was looking out a possibility for some offline championship action at touring cars (Lacetti,320si,Integra and Volvo) or was thinking of LMES . I somehow miss the excitement of the forum championships :P .

I recently bought the game for the PS3 and while I'm disappointed with the lack of licenced chaqmpionships, tracks, teams and cars I think it's not a bad 'pick up and play' racer.

However if they ever release a GRID2 it will need to improve substantially for me to buy it. It's not enough like TRD3.

Also I do occasionally play online, yes. Are there any championships for one to enter?
