Hi folks,
Haven't been on here in an absolute AGE :( Nice to have a browse round again though!
Just thought i'd bring to your attention the Roskirk Stages this weekend. It's held at the Three Sisters Race Circuit in Wigan and is round one of the Kick Energy Acceleration TV Formula 1000 Junior Championship, and the F1000 Tarmac championship (for adults)
For those who don't know, the Junior championship is for drivers aged 14-16 years of age. We had our first year last year and 14 year old Cameron Davies and 17 year old Ashley Slights became joint champions (can compete until Dec 31st of the yr of your 17th birthday)
Having worked with these boys last year, they're a credit to their parents and British Rallying, they love every minute of their rallying and are so well mannered. A few adult crews out there could learn a trick or two off them ;)
If anyone's going up, please come and say hello to the F1000/J1000 boys and girls, you'd be made very welcome :)
12 stages all in all, a capacity 60 car entry and great viewing points. Not sure on cost to get in actually, but i'll try find out :)
