Interesting to see Vermeulen in the top ten at this stage. Hope he can at least maintain it in superpole.

Thought the Prillers would be a bit higher up given pre-season testing, will wait for superpole before making grand predictions...

Terrific result for Haslam...........he was recording his best times on only his second laps in the sessions (that must have been when the Superglue wore off)

Well now that MotoGP has departed FOCKStel for OneHD (for the next five years!), WSB is about the only reason for me to keep my paytv... the kids and missus like it of course but we can certainly do without it. If the WSB season doesn't turn out to be the cracker it's shaping up to be I might go back to peasant tv before the years out :s mokin:

Can't wait for tomorrow, can't wait for tomorrow, can't wait for tomorrow...

I have to get a mate to record it for me today - guess who has his first wedding anniversary today???? Who at the FIM is responsible for this gross oversight in scheduling, hmmm? I want names, dammit!

Last year, some mates who were at PI flew home saturday afternoon from Melbourne, came to the wedding and flew back on the redeye for the race the next day! Champion guys! Still, I did cop a fair shellacking for the timing - which I deflected to my dearly beloved (she's not here at the moment so I can speak freely...)

Really looking forward to the race, it seems the off-season has gone on forever.

Great racing all round. Ace performances in particular by both Suzukis and Checa and Fabrizio on the Ducs.

Surprising that Vermeulen had the Kwack up into 4th in race 2 at one stage before he demolished his second bike for the day.

Corser and the Beemer were on the pace as well.

Poor Haga was beaten up again and rode injured but did well considering.

2 Brilliant races, really wasnt sure which way either would go!

Got back from the pub just in time for race one and was sure that Fabrizio had nicked it on the line, but was very glad he hadnt!

Excellent races. I am happy that finally it looks Suzuki has a competitive bike. Great to see two winners which are not the top favourites before the weekend. Congratulations for the first WSBK victory for Haslam and I hope there will more victories to come.

Sofuoğlu was lucky to have a restart and that he isn't injured in that crash. Laverty is for me the top favourite for the title. Lascorz seems to make small mistakes which we have seen last year too.

Phillip Island was fantastic as usual. Well done Haslam and Checa. Jeez Ruben! - not the way I wanted Nori to start the season.

Was a great weekend - support racing (local aussie racing) was good too... World Supersport could be a bit of a yawn this year...
