I've got Win7 pro...I haven't tried the virtual PC option because as far as I'm aware VPC from MS doesn't include 3D support...so most games are a no-go.

VMWare Workstation is similar software but more powerful and supports up to DirectX 9. Unfortunately it also runs about $200.
