My guess would be 14, set by Troy Bayliss in 2002 and also Ben Spies in 2009.

My guess would be 14, set by Troy Bayliss in 2002 and also Ben Spies in 2009.
If you go back to 1991,the american Doug Polen won 17 races in a single season.Ben Spies (2009) and Troy Bayliss (2002) as you quite rightly said have 14 wins each and are joint 2nd.In joint 3rd are Neil Hodgson (2003) and Carl Fogarty (1995) with 13 wins each.
